PMEU applications of Civil Protection and Military Security are focused on search, determination, warning, analyse and sampling tasks, related to chemical, biological, radiation and nuclear safety. They are particularly specified for biological verification. Integration of PMEU methods with these specialized tasks will be carried out in cooperation with the Finnish company Environics Ltd.
PMEU methods detect various microbes from the surfaces and liquids which helps to protect field forces and civilians against infectious diseases, biological warfare as well as common chemical, biological, hygienic and toxic threats of the environment more easily. PMEU is thus constituting an early warning tool for protection and safety services.
